Convocation

Finally, it my convocation , waited for 2 years for this day to come , lol. Quite excited and happy the nite before convocation and did not get much sleep. My dad arrived on 19th July at 7pm to attain my convocation which is on 21th July. Wake up at abt 8.00am to collect my gown with kah lip and chris. Then have breakfast with then at toowong before heading home to rest for a while. Then abt 11am + , I get dressed up and head to uni. Went to meet up with kah lip and get dressed up in tie and the gown. Took some picture with him and father+bro then head to UQ centre where the Ceremony is held at abt 1.15pm. All guest are to be seated at 1.30pm and the convocation ceremony will begin at 2pm. Still remember my seat no. is 198 and sun yi is 196 which is one seat away from me. Went up to stage to collect the award then after that got one professer gave a speech which is veri long , I think got more than 30 or 40mins , after that they ended the ceremony. Think I did my parent proud , LOL. After that , we guys stay back for a while to take photos together, got me , joo kang , chee yen , don, darren , zhongpei , sun yi , gladys, chris , debbie , ah beng , kah lip. Dun know where our yong kiong gone to , and also got one person missing , ya it anna, lol. After that , went for some refreshment and photo taking session , I think that day is the most photos I taken in my lifetime , haha. After that , abt 4pm , we went to find my supervisor , Dr Dong Zhao Yang who helps me a lot in my thesis , went to thank him with my dad and bro, and took photos with him, he is from china and was a veri helpful and nice person. After that went to take a couple of photos then at abt 5pm , went to return my gown. Went back at abt 5pm+ then rest until 7pm , went to a restaurant to eat with my dad , bro, kah lip + his gf and family, and chung leong + his parent. Was veri tired after the dinner. Thanks Chung leong and his parents for coming and helping us take photos. Congratulations to those who graduated which included Chung leong, anna, joo kang, Chris , Sun yi , luo dun, kah lip,Yong kiong, zhong pei, gladys, ah beng, debbie, chee yen, darren, don, ivan …. End of a chapter of my life…. See ya, tata.

Germany World Cup 2006

hiya , it 7.15am now and i was veri happy, haha, lol. It because Italy had won the world cup and i have earn abt AUS$58 dollars from it. Really exciting to watch the game when u bet , omg , my heart was like poping out or like heart attack.The match go into extra time and penalties. If this morning france win by 1-0 or more, i think i would have lost abt AUS$744 .Cos i bet quite a lot on this last match. I bet AUS$400 on Italy to win world cup at a rate of AUS$1.7. Yesterday lost abt AUS$43 in that germany vs portugal match , i have been losting almost all matches since i bet, only this last match i won abt AUS$350 to cover all the losses that i have made previously.
